Big thanks to all participants for taking part in the lectures, the workshops and all the attractions held during the 6th Academic IT Festival. We hope to have once again met your expectations and that all the elements we prepared for you this year kept a highly substantive level.
Then, we would like to thank our sponsors: Adobe, Clico, Microsoft, Motorola and Software Mind, for their support in the organization of the Festival. We certainly couldn't bring you such big an event without them.
We also thank, of course, all our speakers and workshops instructors, who each year form the core of the Festival.
Finally, we thank Cracow's universities for their support: the AGH University of Science and Technology, the Cracow University of Technology, the Cracow University of Economics and the Jagiellonian University . In particular, we thank the Cracow University of Economics and its employees for lending us the hall and all the technical equipment necessary for the organization of the Festival.
We can now officially consider this year's 6th Academic IT Festival as closed.
But! This, of course, is not the end.
Soon we will be publishing all kinds of information and content on this website. In the coming days will appear an extensive photo-textual relation of the entire festival. Our speakers presentation will also be made available. And, as soon as we process the audiovisual data, we will post recordings of all the lectures (except for the lecture of Mr Konieczny, who asked us not to).
We would also like to remind you our e-mail address, at which you can submit any suggestions and comments. These few days after the festival are usually a period in which most ideas and thoughts come up. We encourage you to write them down into an e-mail and send it to us at uwagi@sfi.org.pl . We read and answer to every e-mail

There is little more than a month left to the beginning of the 2010 6th edition of the Academic IT Festival. In the coming days detailed information will appear about the speakers visiting us this year, as well as a precise plan of the lectures and workshops being held during SFI 2010.
Registration
We would also like to remind that electronic registration will be soon made available on the website. It is obviously NOT a requirement for participating in the festival, but that will be prove extremely helpful later, while elaborating detailed statistics about the upcoming SFI edition.
Workshops
Furthermore, we inform that registration for the workshops held at the festival will be mandatory. It will be possible to preregister through the website, although proper registration will have to be done on the day of the workshop, preferably in the very morning, at the reception in the lobby. Each workshop has limited capacity (The SFI website will be providing additional informations about possible requirements, such as the need to have a laptop running appropriate software, etc.).
Discussion Panel
We introduce a novelty in SFI 2010 in the form of a discussion panel. It will be attended by a number of IT professionals who will speak on a problem-topic given by the organizers. The panel will be moderated and the audience (limited number of seats) is strongly encouraged to take an active part in the discussion. Detailed rules for the registration and information about the panel are coming soon.
Competitions and prizes
As every year, SFI 2010 will not lack numerous competitions and prize draws. We will keep you informed here on the website. It is worth taking part in them, as we have prepared a lot of nice prizes and gifts
